New police puppy will make the rounds

The Mounties on the Sunshine Coast are welcoming a new police puppy to their station.

His name is Janga.

Youth Liaison Officer Constable Kyle Hrynyk will be training the 11-week old German Shepherd and prepare him to become a fully trained police dog.

Unfortunately, Constable Harrison Mohr says Janga’s stay on the coast is only temporary, but he’ll be visiting the local schools while he’s here.

Constable Hrynyk s has trained four dogs before and the last one has graduated from the police-dog training program and is working full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador.
