By the end of this year, the Sunshine Coast Regional District is hoping to have water meters installed in all of its rural electoral areas.
Work is being done in the Roberts Creek right area right now and then crews will be working on the Elphinstone area next.
Dave Crosby, with the SCRD says they’re getting some questions about future water rates and they plan to organize another open house once the work is complete in Roberts Creeks.

Crosby says the work in Sechelt will start next year then a third party consultant will conduct a rate study process to establish a rate for all of the water meters.
