The CEO of the Nanaimo Economic Development Corporation has been fired.
John Hankins had recently publicly taken issue with the City’s decision to divide the activities of the Corporation and Tourism Nanaimo.
Hankins was the third chief executive officer for the Corporation since it was created in 2011.
