Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 29 year old Derrick George.
He was reported missing from Nanaimo on Monday.
His disappearance is out of character for him and his family and friends are concerned for his well-being.
George does not drive, does not possess a cell phone and is not on any social media sites.
It is believed he may walking to visit with family and friends in either Port Alberni or Duncan.
He is a First Nations man, 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighs 300 pounds, has shaggy brown hair and some facial hair.
