The 19th annual Tour de Rock begins Sunday when the team of 17 departs for a 1,100 kilometer, two-week bicycle journey down Vancouver Island.
The public will have a chance to see the team off tomorrow (Sat) as the riders and their bicycles are loaded into vehicles for the drive to Port Alice.

Money raised from the annual event will be used to support pediatric cancer research and support programs including Camp Good Times, a camp for kids with cancer or a history of cancer.
