Nanaimo RCMP are looking for witnesses to a pedestrian hit and run accident.
A 35 year old man was sent to hospital with significant injuries.
Mounties say he was walking with a 25 year old woman in a marked crosswalk at Terminal Avenue and St. George Crescent last Wednesday evening around 10:45.
That’s when a speeding northbound vehicle failed to yield for them and struck the pair.
The vehicle is described as a dark sedan or coupe.
