People can expect to see more ferries on the waters for the month of June.
Corrine Storey, VP of Customer Services for BC Ferries explains.
The extra sailings are scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays and the last week of June.
Storey says vehicle traffic is up by nearly 6 percent on their major routes so far this spring.
There will also be additional sailings for the Tsawwassen and Swartz bay route as well as Departure Bay to Horseshoe Bay.
