Elections Canada has released some more details about the record turn-out at the advance polls over the Thanksgiving weekend, and they show West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast and Nanaimo-Ladysmith had some of the highest numbers in BC.
Around 16,100 voters cast ballots in West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast, which is 18 per cent of the riding’s eligible voters.
In Nanaimo-Ladysmith, a little over 15,150 people, or 16 per cent of voters have already been to the polls.
