New social enterprise ride share aims to fill transportation gaps on Sunshine Coast

The Progress Plan identified transportation as one of the barriers to economic well-being for women on the Sunshine Coast.

And now, one of the people involved in that project is working on a solution.

Michele Morton is a co-founder of the ride share website “Share There”. She says they’re testing it out in partnership with the Self Employed Women’s Network, which is having a major event on Thursday.

Morton says unlike UBER, no money changes hands at “Share There”, which is being run as a sustainable social enterprise.

The web site is share-there.com
