Your Voter Information Card should have arrived

Elections Canada says if you’re registered to vote, you should have received your Voter Information Card by now.

The cards went into the mail in late September.

If you don’t have it yet you should contact Elections Canada, and Dorothy Sitek of Elections Canada says if you did get your card be sure to look it over.

Sitek says there’s another key deadline to keep in mind. If you plan to use a mail-in ballot, you have to apply by 6pm October 13th.

You can do that online, at elections.ca and for the first time this election, you can register to vote at the website as well.
