Elections Canada has released the official candidate lists for the October 19th vote.
No change in the major party roster for Nanaimo – Ladysmith.
Elections Canada has confirmed Mark MacDonald of the Conservatives, the NDP’s Sheila Malcolmson, Liberal Tim Tessier and the Greens Paul Manly will be on the ballot.
In West Vancouver Sunshine Coast, incumbent John Weston is carrying the Conservative banner, the Liberals are running Pam Goldsmith Jones… Ken Melamed is the Green Candidate and Larry Koopman is running for the NDP. Robin Kehler, of Weeds Dispensary in Sechelt, is representing the Marijuana Party.
Both ridings have also seen Marxist-Leninist Party candidates step forward: Jack East in Nanaimo Ladysmith and Carol – Lee Chapman in West Vancouver Sunshine Coast.
The Party is running a total of 70 candidates across the country, on a platform of helping working people overcome their subordination and making sure whoever forms the next government is held in check.
