RCMP say 4 people were injured in a crash that shut down the Malahat near Goldstream Park for around 4 hours Saturday morning.
All 4 needed to be taken to hospital.
Police say just before 9am a southbound car collided with one headed north, and they suspect alcohol and the “driving pattern” of the person behind the wheel of the southbound car may have led to the crash.
A criminal investigation has been launched.
