Nanaimo RCMP say they’re still investigating after a Saturday afternoon accident sent 6 people to hospital in serious condition.
Police say all 6 people were in one vehicle that rolled after the driver lost control on Quesnel Road around 2 pm. One man ended up trapped under the vehicle.
Nanaimo RCMP say some quick thinking bystanders were already giving the injured people First Aid when emergency crews arrived.
Two of the people had to be airlifted to hospital in Victoria, the others were taking to Nanaimo Regional General. All of them are in serious but stable condition.
