Nanaimo RCMP trying to identify injured cyclist

Nanaimo RCMP are trying to identify a critically injured cyclist.
Constable Gary O’Brien says the young woman was found lying on the road near the intersection of Tees Ave and Akenhead Rd.
He says she had no ID on her, and she has been flown to hospital in Victoria in serious condition.
-white female in her 20s or 30s
-5’6″ to 5’7″ with a stalky build
-silver barbell piercing in right ear, 2 piercings in lower lip, 1 in tongue
-tattoo on upper back of 2 koi fish
-wearing black sweatpants, orange Denver Hayes shirt, brown work boots
-riding silver GT mountain bike, no helmet
O’Brien says it’s critical that they get in contact with the woman’s family as soon as possible.
