NDP leader Tom Mulcair is becoming a familiar face on Vancouver Island, as the federal election gets closer.
He was back Thursday with stops in Ladysmith, Mill Bay and Victoria for appearances with Island candidates and out going MP Jean Crowder.
Mulcair tackled a host of topics including derelict vessels, drinking water protection, and marijuana dispensaries.
There are about 5 dispensaries operating right now in Nanaimo. On the Sunshine Coast, there’s one in Sechelt and a mobile dispensary.
