Councillors in Sechelt have approved the 2015 budget.
Throughout the discussions, the Finance Department was suggesting a 1 per cent tax increase to help build up funds to deal with ageing infrastructure.
In the end, though, Council decided to stick with its original course and bring in a budget that keeps tax rates steady.
Sewer user fees, however, are going up.
