What do you do if you have an idea for a new product, but no idea how to make it?

Freelancer.com has made a business out of connecting entrepreneurs with people who have the necessary skills to make their concepts a reality. The site lists over 14 million freelancers whose skills range from software development and design to engineering and 3D printing.

Nik Badminton, the company’s North American Director,  says business owners and freelancers could be doing more to boost each other’s bottom lines. Badminton says Vancouver Island has a lot of budding entrepreneurs looking for someone to do what they can’t. He’ll be speaking in Nanaimo on Wednesday evening.

Badminton’s presentation runs from 7:00-9:00pm at SquareOne.
